Retirement - Petty Officer Second Class Dean Boyer
1. Petty Officer Second Class Dean Boyer will be retiring from the
Canadian Forces on 05 May 09, after 20 plus years of loyal and dedicated
service.
2. PO2 Boyer joined the CF in 26 April 1989 in Montreal, Quebec and
completed recruit training at CFRS Cornwallis and Communications
Researcher training at the Canadian Forces School of Communications and
Electronics in Kingston, Ontario. During his distinguished career Dean
has served at the following locations: CFS Gander, CFS Leitrim, and 2
Electronic Warfare Squadron. Interspersed amongst these postings Dean
has served on domestic and international operations. These include: OP
SHARPGUARD on HMCS Iroquois, several tours at CFS Alert, and his most
recent tour was TFA Kandahar, Afghanistan.
3. Dean will join his wife Trisha and 2 daughters, Morgan and
Racheal, in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, where Dean has secured employment
as the Project Director Computer Forensics Office at the Department of
Justice.
4. A retirement function will be held in Dean's honour at the WOs &
Sgts Mess, CFB Kingston on 24 Apr 09, commencing at 1230 hrs. A meal
will be served at 1300 hrs at a cost of approximately $20.00. Those
personnel wishing to attend the luncheon should contact: Sgt Teresa

Apr 09.

That's a big guy, I can tell. I've watched him in "Under Arrest". Best wishes for him.
