It is with great sadness to pass on that age 49, Jim Barnes passed away on 12 Nov 06 at the Madigan U.S. Army hospital in Washingtson State. Jim had courageously battled cancer during the past year, and eventually his heart stopped after numerous operations.

He is survived by his loving wife Kay (Retired U.S. Navy Senior Chief), and other family members. His burial is scheduled for Friday 17 Nov 06 at 2 PM (Pacific Standard Time) at Burley Funeral Chapel, 30 South Ely St, Oak Harbour, Washington 98277 (1-360-675-3192). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity or the SIFE in Hawaii.
