SUPRAD OLD-TIMER’S ASSOCIATION GAGGLE

1. THANKS: Rick Gallant and his volunteer staff were thanked for preparing the lunch. Monies raised at this luncheon will help cover expenses for the annual CANUS Ball

2. FINANCIAL REPORT: No change from our last gaggle, our association presently has approximately $1,940.00 in the bank. A $325.00 cheque for the ALS was presented to their representative Nigel Van Loan. This was the proceeds from our last luncheon.

3. RINGS; CFS Leitrim ARM are placing an order for SRS rings. Cost is male $332.00 and female $260.00. Rings can be ordered through Rick Gallant at the CFS Leitrim ARM.

4. ALERT 50th ANNIVERSARY: Tom Jenkins gave a brief outline of events planned for this occasion.
They are planning a function to be held at CFS Leitrim which will be open to everyone who served in Alert. They are looking for photos to be displayed. Wayne Moore, Jim Humes and Lynn Wortman volunteered to represent the Old-timer’s Association on the planning committee.

5. BASE PICTURES: CFS Leitrim ARM has pictures of several of the old bases on display (Alert, Leitrim, Gloucester and Coverdale). Anyone wishing scanned copies of these pictures can contact B. Whitlaw.

6. CAIRN: It was decided that each year the Cairn Dedication ceremony should honour one individual. This was approved. It was decided that this year’s honouree would be Malcolm "Mac" Feeley.

7. REUNION : A brief discussion of all the requirements for the reunion proved that everything is booked and ready. Notice to be sent ASAP.

SUPRAD OLD-TIMERS REUNION - June 22, 23 &24, 2007 (MARK YOUR CALENDARS)

Friday 22nd -
CFS Leitrim will host an open house at 1600 hours with cash bar and hamburgers/hotdogs for sale.
Everyone is welcome to attend.

Saturday 23rd
0900 Rideau Carleton Racetrack CASINO open for breakfast
1000 Golf at Raceview Golf Course (across the road from the CASINO)
1600 Meet & Greet at CFS Leitrim ARM
1800 Catered meal (hip-of-beef - AJ's Catering again by popular demand)
2000 - 2400 Social/dance with music by DJ

Sunday 24th
1000 Gloucester Cairn - 2nd anniversary ceremony
1030 Brunch at Greeley Legion (Old Gloucester site)
Cost is $35.00 per person which covers the mess rental, catered meal, DJ and Sunday brunch. Golf, museum and Casino are extra.
