James "Jim" Parsons - 62, of Tiverton,
NS, passed away July 24th, 2012 in Digby General Hospital. Born in Digby,
February 18, 1950, Jim was a son of the late Harold & Hilda Parsons of
Kentville. Jim spent 32 years with the Canadian Armed Forces (Air Forces) before
retiring to Tiverton, NS. For the past nine years, Jim has taken great pride in
his work as Chief Steward with the Digby Pines and as a volunteer with the
Tiverton Fire Department. He will be remembered for his quick wit, kindness and

Austin, Alexandria, Amber and Alina. Visitation 7-9pm Thursday, July 26th from
Jayne's Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street, Digby (245-2525), also from where the
Funeral Service will be at 11am on Friday July 27th. Father Keith Billard
presiding. Interment at 2:30pm in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kentville.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim, may be made to War Amps of
Canada or Salvation Army. Family and friends are invited to sign the guest book
