LEBEAU, Irene Ivy (nee Francis) October 31, 1919 in Woolwich, England - February 27, 2011 in Ottawa "Grant her, Jesus, heavenly rest" Irene passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her sons Ray Lebeau (Muriel) and Allan Lebeau (Marion), granddaughters Michelle Chapman (Chris), Danielle Lebeau (Luc Bourdon), Dana Lebeau (Chris Veitch), Kristin Lebeau, Kari Lebeau and Jennifer Lebeau, great grandsons Nicholas, Kody, Noah and Carter, great granddaughters Raiel, Jayme, Isabelle, Danika and Sadie, and many other family members. Irene was predeceased by her husband Rene (Ray) Lebeau and brothers Bert, Jim and John Francis. Irene Immigrated to Canada in April 1946, as a war bride after the Second World War. During her life, she was a kind and generous soul who gave all to family and friends. Rest in peace Mom - you have left this world for a far better place. Thank you to the staff at Cumberland Lodge and the Ottawa General Hospital for their loving care and kindness. The family will receive friends at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road between Cyr and Savard Streets on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 7-9 pm.
