Passing - Raymond Trudel

TRUDEL, Raymond P. Chief Petty Officer RCN (Ret'd) Stats Can (Ret'd) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ray Trudel, age 83, in hospital after a valiant struggle with lung cancer. He was loved and will be missed by his spouse Lorraine, his sons Bob, Gerry and Ray (Irma), his daughter-in-law Sue and his brother Gilles (Francoise). Predeceased by his infant daughter Theresa, his sisters Claire and Jeanne-D'Arc as well as his brothers Denis and Laurent. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Michael, Marcus, Krystal, Julie, Chelsea, Matthew and Micayla, his great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves to mourn his numerous friends especially Gus Este and also includes the Barrhaven Lions, the Barrhaven Legion #641, the CNIB, the Old Timers #291 and the Trudel Family Association of which he spent many hours doing volunteer work for their causes. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Barrhaven Legion Hall at 3500 Fallowfield Rd., Ottawa.
